I read on Nintendo's site that they are supposed to have been released on Sep. 30th. Anyone know of any B&M stores that have it? I'm pretty sure Target doesn't have it. Fry's maybe?

the broadband adapter will be the key to cracking the gamecube and creating game backups, so no, many people do not want to wait til a game comes out to support it.

I don't know about browser software. If any of you haven't played PSO before, I highly recommend it. It's the best online console game evar! Seriously, it is incredibly fun, and on the gc you can play 4 player split screen!

make a program on your pc to send commands over the broadband to tell the gc to send the game disks contents to your pc, then work on cracking it. this is the first step, next will be mod chips to replace uncopyable boot code the disks contain so you can get the games to boot. games will be written to mini dvd disks with a dvdr burner. or maybe they can written to regular dvdr disks, but a case replacement will be needed to made the "hole" bigger. the gcs laser already reads paste the minidisks length.

Old thread but there are some broadband adapters at my local Target. I saw at least 5+ just chillin there by the modem adapters, so I'm assuming they have more in stock.

Wow really?? Awesome I'm gonna have to go check my Target again. The last time I looked they didn't even have the modem. They have never carried the PS2 net adapter either.

Are you positive they've never carried it, or did they sell out so fast that you didn't see them?

I have a friend that works at my local Wal-Mart and he said they sold out within the hour they were put on the shelfs.

Well I dunno, but I'm in Target all the time and I always look at the video game stuff and I've never seen it, ever. And I know it's been out for a while.

This seems like a lot of work for free games
