Gameboy Advance SP- what games to get?

I'm going to pick up a GBA SP to kill time on several up coming flights (PSP is too expensive, and the Gameboy DS isn't that appealing to me). Anyway, I was wondering what games I should look into. I'm thinking of picking up the newest versions of Castlevania, Zelda, and Metroid (my favorites on the NES), but would consider older ones if they had better game play. I'm also open to suggestion to strategy or any other kind of game that one could really get into (I hate flying). Also, how are sports games on a small screen, particularly Madden football? Thanks!

Why not get a micro? http://micro.gameboy.com/ It's tiny!!! $99USD

Game suggestions:

Mario Golf (Advance)
Virtua Tennis
Pokemon FireRed :D

If you can find it, buy the games used at your GameStop, EB Games, etc.

Zelda: A link to the past

I bought that game when I bought the Gameboy SP about 2 and a half years ago. love it and loved it on the Super NES back in the day.

Urbz is also good, along with Metroid Prime

I think I would rather have a used SP for $50, and a pile of used games. :)

I really enjoyed the newest zelda one, and golden sun (although I didn't finish that one yet).. but I like pinball best. the sonic pinball party one is pretty fun.

oh.. final fantasy tactics is pretty fun too.

But the micro is sooooo cute! ;)

Another game addition:
Bust-A-Move
Pac Man Collection (I forget the exact name, but it has loads of pacman games on one cartridge)

Oh yeah, I have that thing. you can listen to music, play movies (with the hassle of conversion of course), read text, and look at pictures on it also.

I second The Golden Sun games if you like RPG's. If you like strategy games, look for the Fire Emblem games and Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis. Both awesome games.

It is super easy to play nes roms and now you can also play the old gameboy roms too!

Thanks for all the info- I'm going to check out the used games (I'm cheap) for some of these!

I'm also going to have to check out the movie player/emulator- I didn't even know that was available :D

I'm looking at getting a micro as well - what exactly is this movie player/emulator that you speak of? I know I heard of a WiFi add-on adapter for it, but never heard of a movie player. Any help would be awesome. TIA
