They are going for $140 Canadian... i gave it a demo at futureshop and the screen seemed a bit dim... ran mario 2 (the best mario) great though. Just wondering if anyone has purchased it, and if they like it. I might get one for my nephew's birthday, he's turning 9. peace out.

<<geez, i must have been typing 2 fast!!!>>

Anyway, to update, i purchased it at futureshop this morning... there was only like 3 left, got my nephew f-zero with it.

GB Advance just came into Toys R Us in the US for $99. The Advance is very impressive and has a larger screen but I really want a back-lit screen. Any kid would love it though since their eyes are still good.
The new Castlevania is a must get for fans of the series. BTW IMO the best Mario was Super Mario 3. I hope they release a new Mario All Stars.

But there are only like 1-2 games out. I'm talking about GB Advanced games, not the ported old games... So I guess we'll have to wait.

Huh?

Try:

Army Men Advance (3DO)
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon (Konami)
Chu Chu Rocket! (Sega)
Earthworm Jim (Majesco)
F-Zero: Maximum Velocity (Nintendo)
Fire Pro Wrestling (BAM)
GT Advance Championship Racing (THQ)
Hot Potato (BAM)
Iridion 3D (Majesco)
Konami Krazy Racers (Konami)
Namco Museum (Namco)
Pinobee: Wings of Adventure (Activision)
Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure (Majesco)
Rayman (Ubi Soft)
Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2 (Midway)
Super Dodgeball Advance (Atlus)
Super Mario Advance (Nintendo)
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater (Activision)
Top Gear GT Championship (Kemco)
Tweety and the Magic Jewel (Kemco)

That's a few more than 2.

Heh... Ok 😉 But are those made specifically for GBA or just some port of old games? 16 or 32 bit?

Yea, non-backlighting really blows for a portable device, especially after being used to all the PDAs and such I've worked with.
