I built a 1.2 GHz Athlon 266 FSB system with the EP-8K7A mobo and 128 MB DDRDRAM last week. It uses the RADEON 32 MB DDR video card.

Yesterday I built a nearly identical system but this one uses the 1.33 GHz Athlon 266 FSB )and also has a CD-RW and DVD which the first computer did not have).

I have a Family Fued game from Hasbro that my cousin gave to me because they could not get it to install on their 200 MHz Pentium system. I installed it without a problem on my 333 MHz P2 system but when playing the game locked up my computer. I then installed the game on the 1.2 GHz Athlon system and the game works fine on that computer. Today, I installed the game on the 1.33 GHz computer and when I try to start the game, it gives me an error message: FAILED TO CREATE THE Z-BUFFER - POSSIBLY OUT OF MEMORY. This is the same message that my cousin got when trying to INSTALL the game on their system. Funny this game works on the 1.2 GHz system but not the 1.33 GHz system with same mobo. Would different memory make a difference??

Are u using the same video card in both machines? I believe the Z-buffer has to do with GPU/mem... if you're using the same card, do u have the same drivers installed? Same OS installed?

Both computers use the same video card (Radeon LE 32 MB DDR), same drivers, and the same OS (Windows 98 SE).
