I read about this website on another forum and I have searched and found no references to it on AT. This is a great way to get (near) full value for the games that you would otherwise trade back to Gamestop/EB for a fraction of their true value (and what they would resell them for, effectively ripping you off).
Playerchain.com allows you to list any games you are looking to "trade". If someone wants the game and is willing to pay the price you are asking, they will request it or they can give you an offer for a different price. If you accept, you ship it off to them and the money (called Game Bucks) is transferred into your account. You can then use your Game Bucks to purchase games other people are trading. There is no real money involved, other then the shipping fees and the $2.50 you pay Playerchain anytime you receive a game.
The site, I believe, is relatively new. I don't think they have anymore then 300-400 members currently. The downside to their system is that, only starting with 20 Game Bucks, you have to wait until you sell a game before you can afford to buy any of the newer games that are listed on the site. Due to the currently small membership, you usually don't see more then one or two games available per title (if that).
Games are listed by UPC for ease and you can make short notations on their conditions. Members have a rating to let you know how fast they ship. It's a pretty good idea, it just needs to get off the ground.
