game theater XP, santa cruz, or audigy? help!

i'm in the market for a new sound card, and i have it narrowed down to the game theater XP, santa cruz, and the audigy. oem, i can get the XP for about $80, and either the santa cruz or audigy for $50-60. i'm really leaning for the XP, as it has several connections i would use for only $20 more, but if there is a big problem with the XP (which i haven't seen in reviews or threads on various forums) i'll go with the santa cruz or audigy. i use my system for DVD's, music and gaming equally. i would be using either Win2k pro or WinXP pro, if that makes a difference.

If I wanted to spend the extra money, I would have taken the XP, but went with a Santa Cruz.

yeah, that's the concensus i have read elsewhere. with a $20 difference, i think the XP will be worth it, if only for the midi and usb ports.

I don't use any of the extra connections so I got the Santa Cruz. It has run like a champ. 🙂
