Game settings profiles in Vista

When I play Baldurs Gate 1+2 and TuTu I have to turn hardware acceleration off by going through several menus and reducing the slider to 3 ticks in, going left. If I don't I get blocky black textures on the map and some buttons are shaded black in the game.

So I ask, is there a utility that saves game profiles like this for windows graphics settings? I have heard of ntune but I am looking for something for ATi. Thanks!

Disclaimer: I should point out that I haven't installed my Ati card yet, so I didn't realize that CCC comes with something similar to what I am looking for. Is there a program that does it better? That's really what I am asking.

Curious as to why you're turning off hardware acceleration? Flashing textures/pallettes? If yes, turn off triple buffering. BG1 and 2 look better with hardware acceleration, try turning off Triple Buffering instead. Took me a while to figure that one out, its not really documented anywhere. With NV profiles you can create/change the profile to turn off Triple Buffering only for BG1/2.

I am guessing CCC or Ati Tools have something similar to NV profiles? I didn't know it was Triple Buffering that was the holdup. Thanks, I'll give that a try when my pc comes to life tomorrow.
