Inspired by KT's movie thread in ATOT. The reason I wanted to makes this thread.. is because I watched a lot of movies that I never knew existed and I hope this thread may help other gamers.

I'll start -
Ashes Cricket 2009 - 7.5/10
I know this is a very obscure game for a lot of folks here, but anyone who has an interest in Cricket.. this is the definitive Cricket game.
Developed by Transmission and distributed by Codemasters.. the game looks stunning and runs on pretty much any system equipped with a video card. Currently available on Steam for $9.99(Don't expect any sale on this title.)
Cricket Wiki
The game mechanics are pretty well done, and in-spite of a few major flaws I very much like this game. It is pretty unfortunate that this game did not do too well upon release, so this is most recent cricket game developed by a major studio. This one gets a 7.5 and the best Cricket game I've ever played.
L.A. Noire - 8.5/10
I purchased this during recent Amazon Spring Sale for $5 and I just completed the main plot of this game.
The good- Fantastic facial animations and voice acting. Option to skip driving, action sequences and gun fights..although I recommend you to not do that. The plot is very interesting and it really plays out like a movie(Not a bad thing IMO). The atmosphere is extremely good.. pretty stunning representation of post-WW II America. Option to replay individual stories after completing them.
The bad- Console port with awful textures and few graphical glitches. Terrible movement and controls while on foot, driving and during gun fights. Appalling gun mechanics. Final 3/4 th of the story goes too fast.. I wished it was bit longer.. as things seem to feel rushed.
Overall, pretty good game.. and right now I am off to solve street crime and driving on the streets of LA with absolutely no sense of purpose.
