game problem . PLEASE HELP!!!

I just bought EVGA 6800gt from newegg..... my games get slow fps and are slughish.... I reallly hate this..... in css its realy bad .. i play on my rec settings and its slow .. please help me!!!!!! i dont know what to do 🙁 my friend has almost same pc and his games run great!!!
I get good scores on benchmarks but games are bad .. please help!!!!!

The CS tests seem about right. If you're running in high resolution with everything on you're not going to get 100fps.
 
Your monitor might suck too. if I turn my res up real high, my net_graph only shows a max of 60fps because of the refrash rate at that res (60, obviously). I get 100fps at 1024x768.
 
maybe the drivers, try teh lastest offical ones. I have no problem with my eVGA 6800GT, it just might be the drivers.

get the ones off of nivida, not the beta ones!
 
I just bought new monitor SAMSUNG SyncMaster 997DF and i had the offical drivers from the NVIDIA SITE and my 3dmark05 score was 3200!!!! when i got the beta drivers it was 4782

I am thinking of returning the video card 🙁
 
16000 3dmark 01??? um.. thats low i tink did u do a fresh install of your operating system and install chipset drivers?
