Ehh they added a ton of random sex scenes including gay ones that never happened the least they can do is make a lesbian scene when it did happen. :awe:

In their defense, most those added sex scenes served a purpose:

Showed you Renly is gay (not so obvious in the show as it was in books)
Showed you what a massive asshole Joffrey is (this though seems more evident in the show than the books)
Adding the lesbian scene wouldn't add/explain too much.
