What about the 'hand over the cup' move? I still don't see how you saw the necklace thing in real time. I watched that woman's hands and I didn't see any movement like she pulled something off her necklace or that she had anything in her hands. When she left Sansa to go eat some of the food she paid for, her hands looked completely empty.

It's split second right before Joffrey goes to cut the cake. You don't get a clear shot of it happening, but it's the only time that makes sense to me. Margaery is the last person to touch the cup before Tyrion hands it to Joffrey the final time, and she clearly puts her hands over top of the mouth of it.

Well thanks for making sure that everyone knows this, making sure to spoil it for all of us.

Seriously dude, WTF? If what you say is true, report those posts so they're removed, don't spoil it for everyone by explaining it to us.

I'm trying to get the guy banned. You're not helping.

In fact, f*ck it. I have been driven from this thread by the constant spoilers and people who are defending the people who post them, rather than helping to get them banned.

Huh? I reported his post and when I quoted him I put his spoiler in spoiler tags (something you might wanna do too).

The entire internet was filled with cookie crumb trails minutes after the episode aired, to not think that there would be a reason why is pretty dimwitted.

If that was a spoiler it was the first one I've posted in this thread, sorry about that. Doesn't matter now because im on ignore though.

Yes, and I have gone over this scene several times. When the dancer fights king's guard and Lannister lackeys there a few things that are important. When Arya leaves the dancing master has a wooden sword, which the king's guard just broke in half. It cuts to Arya and you clearly hear a metal sword hit the ground, followed by a loud groan. Then a bunch of various fighting sounds. It sounded like he disarmed the king's guard.

I can't believe I never noticed this. I'm going to have to go track down this episode when I get home tonight. Now I'm intrigued.

My theory is he is either the faceless guy, Jacqen, or related to him somehow. Either way I think he lived, if he isn't Jacqen he got word to him about Arya.

/random theory from a non-book reader

Already discussed about 40 or 50 pages back. I think Syrio is alive too.

It's sad when REDDIT of all places has more adult level discussions going on.

Well you never see him actually die as the camera cuts away from him and you only hear sounds of a fight. Pretty good representation of what Arya can perceive.

Do I have to put YOU on my ignore list? You quoted a spoiler and didn't use spoiler tags in your quote. You also could have deleted the text there.

The person you quoted [momeNt] edited the post, so I only got this spoiler from you. :(

Even if you edit the quote, the spoiler is still in your own text. Please get rid of it before my brother sees it.

[edit]
I added spoiler tags to techs' words when I quoted him. KT edited momeNt's quote in techs' post and edited techs' quote from my post, but techs' un-spoilered post still exists with spoiler intact. BEWARE!

[edit2]
Ah. He got it now. Thanks, KT!

As far as the wedding goes, it's obvious they put a BUNCH of things in there to throw us off. Sansa also put her hand over the cup in an odd manner when handed the cup to Tyrion. I'm sure the plot didn't involve Sansa, Tyrion, Lady Olenna, Margaery, and Ser Dontos. It's probably just 2-3 out of the list.

I suspect the cup is involved but perhaps it isn't. I mean the whole jewel off the necklace is a really odd device. Why not just carry some poison in your pocket? Why go through the trouble to sneak the poison in on Sansa's necklack, what if she didn't wear it that day? Maybe she thought it was ugly...

So many interesting questions, I'm sure a book snob will ruin everyone's anticipation.

Do we even know the gym was for carrying the poison and the cup itself was poisoned? What if it was the pie that was poisoned, and since the king was going to be the first to eat it, nobody else would be killed. Margaery was the person who fed the king the pie, and then he died. Perhaps, she stole the jewel to implement Sansa in the murder (placing it in the pie or something) to keep the heat off the Tyrells, if it was even them. Tyrion just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and is getting blamed for it right now though, so that framing of Sansa isn't necessary.

It was clear to me while rewatching that olenna had a gem in her hand when she pulled it back from sansa.

I honestly can't remember who did it from the book so I'm intrigued by all the slight of hand in the show.

Someone mentioned sansa putting her hand over the cup, but there wasn't any wine in it at that point so tyrion would have noticed something out of place in the cup.

OK, maybe the thread title isn't clear enough.

This thread is a NO SPOILERS thread. Period.

People need to have the common courtesy to not post spoilers or ANY material from the books. We have a separate book thread for that thread. So if you feel the need to post about the book material, go to that thread.

Now, everyone is warned.

From this point on, if a member continues to post spoilers, they will be infracted.

If they continue to do so after being infracted, there is a possibility they will be removed from access to OT.

I feel sorry for mods that are forced to read all the spoilers in the posts reported to them. :(

It would have been a pain had there been many, but there were only a couple.

I hope this means that even spoiler tags should only be used for recent episode details -- so book spoilers should always be 100% off-limits...EVEN WITH SPOILER TAGS. If I've seen every episode, I shouldn't have to wonder what kind of spoiler is behind the spoiler tag.

The last few days of following this thread, as a book reader, have been laughable with everyone up in arms over spoilers.

There has been plenty of speculation from "non-bookreaders" regarding certain events that only someone that has read the books would have knowledge of. Therefore us book readers can only conclude that some "non-bookreaders" are liars.:colbert:

Regardless, I only come in here to get perspective from other fans of the show. I am die hard fan that cannot get enough of this show. I actually have re-watched the series multiple times and read the books twice.
