Game Fubars When Launched

I was recently gifted a game that uses GFWL.
The thing crashes, since it can't connect to GFWL for whatever reason. (Not a router or firewall issue). Yet another single player game that don't work correctly.:thumbsdown:

It also looks like I am not alone with all the issues these guys have, if you look at the GFWL forums.

At least now, we really know what GFWL really means!

The list of companies that have f'ed up DRM keeps growing, Ubi, EA, and MS, and just think, we all thought that starforce was bad. 🙄

Your post does not indicate whether you have taken any steps to try and solve any issues you have which may or may not be related to GFWL.

It would be good if you described your problem in greater detail with any steps you have taken to remedy it.

Personally, I have not had an issue with GFWL with a singleplayer or a multiplayer game and from your post, it just sounds like any excuse to bash it.

I tried pretty much all the things they talk about in their FAQs & phone support.
Nothing has helped so far though.

As for describing the problem, what more do you want to know, that their phone support couldn't help me with?

It just refuses to connect to GFLW servers, and the game crashes soon after that.
I can connect with the external client just fine though.

He's just looking for attention. Ignore him. Anyone who actually wanted help would say what game it was.
