My 5 year old daughter received a Barbie genie CD for a gift recently, which she loves. It came with a controller i.e a genie bottle.
I connected the bottle to my sound card which is a Creative Labs PCI 128. I cannot get this game controller to work properly. When I went to the manufacturer's help site, this problem was listed. To correct the problem, it said to go to control panel->game controller->add->2-axis, 2-button joystick selection. this I did. However when I rebooted, the joy stick still does not function properly.
I went back to the game controller, and the 2-axis, 2-button joystick is now listed (it was not before), but under status for this joystick, it states not connected.
How do I get it connected?
I did go to creative labs site & downloaded the latest drivers.
Also, everything looks ok in the device manager.
