Game Controller "not connected"

Hi everybody, I heard this is a good place to come for help 🙂

I am running Win XP. I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick that I cannot get working. The driver is installed, as are my USB drivers. The joystick will not work on either USB port, though my USB scanner works of either. The joystick works on another PC no problem.

I had installed some beta gaming software, and the joystick worked fine then. I think it quit working when I uninstalled the beta software, to install the retail version.

In the Game Controller wizard, the joystick is listed, but the status is "Not Connected". Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I GREATLY appreciate any help or suggestions!

Thanks amdskip 🙂

It seems odd that the joystick worked no problem previously. I havent added any new USB devices. It's still possible that power could be a problem?
