I was wondering if anyone has a clue what would cause this to happen.
While playing World of warcraft, after logging in and playing awhile ~15min, the game will freeze up no response to keyboard/mouse input, the screen is frozen as well, the sound is repeating.
then after 10+sec it will resume and just start running just fine again. it will continue to do this during play. it seems to happen more often when I enable antialiasing which I why I suspected the video card.
I have a tough time pinpointing what hardware is causing this if any.
pc is an A64 3700+, Epox Nforce4+Ultra, 2x1gig pc3200, 7800gt, sata hd, using the built in sound.
I was at first thinking it was the video card, but now I'm thinking of trying to add in sblive card to see if it fixes the problem.
this freezing in the game doesnt happen on an older pc with lesser hardware. so something must be causing it.
