why? because the majority of the people east of the mississippi (also were most live) could careless if cali fell into the ocean.

its sad considering barry bonds is in it, and its been somewhat entertaining.

I care and I am in Atlanta. I grew up in Michigan as a HUGE Giants/Will Clark fan, so I have followed them for the past 15 years.

What's not on? The games start at 8:30EST.

and since most people would probably rather watch the whole thing if the game is close they're not going to stay up the 3+ hours that it takes to watch it. so they watch something else instead

I guess I am the exception to the rule. I am watch the entire game. I think part of the reason that ratings are down for baseball is the fact that the games take so long to complete. I agree with what you are saying.

Actually, the thought of 4 people going to a game, each having a hot dog and a drink for a total cost of $160+ is taking all of the fun out of it.

Exactly. I took dad to fenway park for his birthday.

Coke: $3
Beer: $7
Hot dog: $4

I swear to all things holy, if we hadnt smuggled in a reuben sandwich, roasted pork loin, and several cokes.....I dont know what we would have done.
