They managed to outlaw it in WA as well. It's a big pain in my butt now. I have to drive across the river and hang at wi-fi areas to play, as well as having out of state methods to retrieve my winnings. Didn't do anything to stop me from playing, just made it an irritant, lost my support for state government, and kept Washington from reaping any benefits from what is going to continue to go on.

Government should have 0 involvement in 'sin' issues, morality enforcement, etc. That's all 100% subjective and should always remain outside of government control.

Well who cares. I consider all gambling to be wrong. I dont see what the difference is from an illegal local crap game in an alley is any different from a casino. The only difference is the law sanctions and taxes one activity and not another. I think the real kicker is probably the casinos complain because they are paying taxes so then someone has to be arrested because the govt did not get their cut.

If a person loses their money in a casino online or a casino in their home state, they still lose their money. Does it do any good to arrest the loser?

The bottom line is the protection of the tax money for the government. They should just outlaw all gambling if it is so bad.
