gam_server (from the gamin package) is eating all my CPU...

The program gam_server (from the gamin package) is eating 100% of my CPU in debian unstable. It seems to be caught in a never-ending loop. Downgrading to testing does nothing to help. gam_server seems to be needed by konqueror to manage cookies among other things. What should I do?
 
I don't use KDE so I usually just kill gam_server and it gets restarted if anything wants it, so it's fine. I haven't reported it since I haven't had the time or desire to debug the problem, if you do you can report a bug and see what happens.
