Galileo robotic iPhone/iPod platform

I'm seriously considering purchasing the Galileo and have less than 26 hours to decide to qualify for the $85 deal vs $130 retail.

Since I don't have an iPhone, I would use it with my iPod Touch. I'm trying to think of where and how I would use it?
