Are people hunting for celebrity deaths to post now or...?
No idea who she was. Thought she might have been a meteorologist because of the name.

My first thought was an X-Men character I didn't remember from the movies....

I'm one of the few on here who actually remembers seeing Gale Storm on tv.

James Whitmore was a great actor. I remember seeing him in a stage performance of Will Rogers...he nailed the character perfectly.

I always liked and rooted for Colonel Ed McMahon...Semper Fi!

Same here, I loved the Gale Storm Show. I don't remember why, and I don't remember much about the show - I think it was her clever name that I was addicted to.

Indeed. James Whitmore? Dang. He was one great actor. I remember him from the shawshank redemption. one of the best, if not the best movie i've ever seen.

Don't forget

Dobie Gillis which co-starred Bob Denver aka Gilligan (though this played more in the early 60s it still started out in 59)

We just need an "RIP" thread stickied for people to post any deaths they come across or know personally in.

I've done half the folks on this list.

Yeah, Bea Arthur for sure.
