Hi ,

So I've read the great articles about the snapdragon s9 but I have a few questions..

The battery life comparison was with [among others] the s9+ w/snapdragon. how big is the difference between snapdragon s9 to an exynos ? (both non +)

Has anyone tried to lower the 2.8ghz boost of the snapdragon s9 to 2.6-2.7 for better battery with minimal performance cost?

I am not sure which version to buy - where Im at , the official version is the exynos one , but you can find few places who import snapdragon for similar enough prices[if not lower].

Well , sorry if you've got offended.

IMO , you hang around different forums to help others so their request do matter , And mine was that I dont need that exact comparison..as I'm looking for something else.. so you should not (again IMO) be offended by me saying your comment was not helpful.

But I guess it was a bit direct , what else could I say ?

By the way (2.0) - I'm not from the US , It just might be some culture difference as I do not saw this comment as offensive .

Good day.

I know.

I've been around the world, and it's pretty universal when someone tries to help, you don't do that. Anyways, that's all the time I want to spend here. Good luck!

other than... giving you google results of s9 snapdragon vs. exynos that you probably already know about...

I'll just say, the differences are pretty minute and not worth discussing. Like similar samsung phones in the past. Or let's just say, it's probably not that much of a big deal to purchase X over Y. So, just keep what you got and enjoy the good and the bad of the features that some people want to make a big deal about. Probably a mute point since most of the problems were already addressed with firmware updates.

The most important thing is what SoC will support your carrier.

Honestly you would be better off buying the exynos. The phone is rootable and has a unlocked bootloader. You would be able to throw a custom rom on it. If you were to purchase a Galaxy S9 that has the snapdragon soc. It has a locked bootloader and currently not possible to root this particular phone.
