It has better battery, better storage, a lighter & slimmer chassis, a bigger screen, NFC, more up-to-date Android, and a more useful skin than the One. HTC is going to have to sell their materials, slight pixel density advantage, and slightly smaller screen.

I honestly don't think any flagship is going to displace Samsung's sales. More likely that the ~$200 "good enough" phone (exemplified by the ridiculous Tegra 4i reference platform -- quad 1080p for $100-$300) will kill their profit from this sector.

We have a thread on this

And you're inviting them from the get go..
No, I don't find Apple v. Android very interesting at all. (Just one step more interesting than the Japanese Samsung-basher(s).)

The question is, if you're not on the Apple train, what's the best option? Despite the complaints, I'm not sure how the answer after today isn't, for most people, the S4.

I still want my Nexus 4i though...

Samsung has the hardware and HTC has the chassis and screen(IMO). You could've posted this in the other thread btw.

It doesn't have iOS /thread

😀

In seriousness I like the 5" screen but am skeptical in how the new scan features are going to work in practice.
