Galaxy S2 GT-9100M SIM locked after 4.1.2 update

Hi,

So I was running GB and decided to update using KIES and after the update my phone started to ask for a SIM UNLOCK CODE upon boot up. This was suppose to be an international version unlocked phone. I dont know why its asking for a code after an official update.
Anyway I been digging around and seems like people are saying to root the phone and use galaxsim unlock tool to unlock it.
I've sucessfully rooted the phone but now that app is no longer on the US play store.

Can someone please help me, I am so frustrated. I thought this was a factory unlocked phone :|

THank you so much, I was able to install it. However galaxsimunlock crashes whenever I hit the unlock button, sooo close yet so far. Any suggestions?

Ok quick update in the hopes that it may help others. First of all thank you for the quick responses. I reinstalled that app and it asked me to buy the pro version. So I found an older version that unlocked it for free and now the phone is working fine.
