Hey, I spent about 3-4 days looking through different cases, and finally ended up finding this one, and cancelling my other order for a different silicone sleeved case, that had a kickstand. I really wanted a case with no kickstand.

Anyways, thought I would share, since it took me so long to find it.

i just use a flip cover. goes into a vertical holster when not in use. hate to put cases and screen protectors on. detracts from the beauty of the phone

I have accidentally dropped my phones a few times over the years. I never broke one, but just a precautionary measure as the Note 2 is the most expensive phone I have ever bought, and I am paying not subsidized for it.

I definitely want to protect that purchase, but I didn't want to make it look hideous either. I can stand the look of this case.

Sand, do you at least use screen protectors?

This case,

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...d_i=B0075WQ18Q

and a screen protector.

This isn't the most expensive phone I've paid for. I paid full price for my unlocked international S2 through Amazon. That being said, with the case and the screen protector, and insurance on the Note 2, I'm pretty rough with it. I don't think it gets as much TLC as my S2 did, but I love the Note 2 none the less.

I bought an "ionic" case... has the rubber first tier along with the plastic second tier you place it in. Not bad actually. Added very little weight to the phone.

no screen protectors. didn't use it on previous 2 phones either. figure gorilla glass is good enough. i like the look and feel of the glass. screen protectors tend to look hazy and have a rubbery feel to them.
