Galaxy Note 3 Rumours

If that is true then Exynos 5 Octa was by-far the worst Exynos yet.

The problem with BIG.little is that you are fighting the yield-monster bare handed needing 8 cores.

In the case of the A15 and A7 it's not that bad. The 4x A7 cores is the size of a single A15 core IIRC.

I can't wait to see the Note 3 just stick a fork in everything else. (That is, if Samsung doesn't screw it up somehow, which I wouldn't put past them.)

I like a lot of things about the note 2; but the screen size is already too large for me. I feel the phone is definitely better than the s3/s4 (reception, sound quality, ....) so I kind of wish they would make a premium phone but actually make the screen a wee bit smaller (narrower).

The Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to have a 5.9 inch display.

Do you guys think that's too big?

BTW, the Galaxy Note 2 has a bigger screen than the Galaxy Note 1 but is actually physically smaller because of the minimal bezel.

Could the Galaxy Note 3 achieve the impossible and sport a 5.9 inch display but be the same size as the Galaxy Note 2?
I could do a 5.9" screen, but not a bigger phone. The Note 2 is already pretty unwieldy. If they can keep it in the same form factor, I am in. If the actual phone gets bigger, I will reluctantly have to keep my Note 2. I LOVE my s-pen.

I adore my Note 2, I'm dying to see what the 3 will bring. A bigger, higher quality screen? Please hurry up & take my money!

I think they already know this.

IMO bigger screen and (slightly) smaller body are a given, and bulk-adding stuff like metal is out. The question is whether Samsung decides to finally unveil flexible displays...

Even S4(of my brother) with 5" screen looks too big to me, I can't imagine to own a phablet with 5.99" screen.

You get used to it in a day or two (at least in the case of the Note II). After that, every other phone looks way too small in comparison.

Well I still think the note 2 is a bit on the large (wide) side. I dont' really have a problem with the height but the width is a bit of a killer for me - and I've had it for 5 months. Mind you currently I am unaware of a verizon phone that has the same quality where it counts (reception, battery life, sound, unlockabl bootloader, ...) so I'm not currently thinking of switching but if an alternative comes along that is a bit smaller I'd probably switch. Oddly I'm not sure i've seen much on the roadmap for the next 6 months that is worth considering. Maybe the motorola x phone if they kept the sd slot; unlock the boot loader and add a wolfenstein dac.

i wouldn't mind the note 3 being bigger than my note 2 but with thinner bezels so an even bigger screen.

2 things though, any guesses as to what res it'll be? higher than the note 2 hopefully, and who thinks it'll have a foled screen in case of drops etc?

Ditto for most comments - I'm ok with a larger 1080p screen as long as the overall body doesn't grow much at all. Thought 1080p was a gimmick until I saw the S4, One, and Optimus G Pro - no brainer the Note 3 will get a 1080p screen.

One other thing - in overall usage, at minimum have the same battery life as the Note 2, ideally even more. The Note 2 gets me through a full day of heavy use - so it's good enough IMO (unlike the S4/One/Optimus G Pro), any more is just a bonus. So whether it's being more power efficient or a larger battery - I don't really care as long as I get at least as much use.

They already have the MEGA, which is 6 inches or so.

I like my Note 2 but I wont be getting anything this big again. In fact I was already admiring the S4.

Would rather have a full size tablet with a small phone I think. Maybe a Note 8 or something in that category.

The tablet would go in a backpack and the phone would be conveniently in my pocket. Best of all worlds.
