Galaxy Note 3, how do I make browser report as desktop

Title says it all, I didn't buy this monster to view Web content in mobile mode. What do I need to change to get the stock browser to report as a desktop? I tried the about:debug trick in the address bar, but never found the uastring option like on my old Motorola phones. This is my first time using a Samsung's flavor of android so I'm still noodling my way around. Thanks!

(in browser) Menu button > Settings > Desktop View

Works in both the default browser and Chrome.

Is there a way to make this work on iOS and Pcs (more like desktop to mobile?)
