Newegg is selling Galaxy GTX 460 (Fermi) GC 768MB for $130 - 50 rebate + $8 S/H. Limit 2 rebates per product; so you can have a decent SLI for about $170 (shipping is $11 for 2). This may not be the most current hardware, but it does support DX11, and as SLI it can put up a good fight against GTX480/570 (a GTX460 1gb SLI can definitely surpass a single 480). Personally, I am not a fan of Galaxy's aesthetics, but this cooler is supposed to be fairly quiet and effective. I've never had issues with Galaxy's rebate, either.

I've had this card since December of last year and it's great. Rebate(s) came through as well.

Do not fear the Galaxy.

If you plan on sli then you really need to get the 1gb cards instead of the 768mb cards, such as this promotion here

http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2193915

The reason why you need to get the 1gb and not the 768mb is that when you sli two cards, the first half of the memory is used to determine what the 1st card is rendering while the second half determines what the 2nd card is rendering.

Thus having two cards in sli with 768mb of memory is like running the cards at 384mb of memory each, while 1gb cards would be like running the cards at 512mb each.

Compare the benchmarks between the two, I think it is worth it.

Notice the minimum frame rate of 1920x1200 crysis is 45.6 fps vs 34.2 fps when comparing the 1gb sli vs the 768mb sli (that is a difference of 33.3%).

I've got this in my HTPC from a previous deal. Fan is noisier than I expected for an axial fan, but it isn't that bad.
