Just got a Galaxy 660TI a few weeks ago during the Newegg sale. Have had some issue with games like TF2 and CS where it will briefly stutter during times with a lot of activity on the screen. These are the only games I've experienced this issue with. Haven't been able to find anyone else experiencing this through a search on google. Not sure what's causing it either as I have the latest Nvidia drivers and have not changed my game settings. Any thoughts before I go to Galaxy customer support?

Don't have the specifics at the moment because I'm at work, but I have i7 processor and 16gb ram (GSkill Ripjaws). you know, now that you mentioned it, aak, I did replace the ram at the same time. Let me see if putting in my 8gig previous sticks takes care of the problem.

I used to have some problems with TF2, most of the time disabling multi core rendering would solve, but than you loose some performance (but the i7 with a single core might be able to still run well), apart from that I noticed some differences with the OS version... I had less problems with Windows 8.

How/where do I disable the rendering?

Have you tried disabling hyper-threading on your i7 processor in the bios?

I've had some instances where that can cause issues and games really don't benefit from it anyways.

These are all multiplayer games, internet connection is my guess, maybe some packet loss. Try some single player games and see if that helps, maybe even start your own private game and just add some bots. A little bit of lag is common, if you have a lot of packet loss however, you could see some jittery skipping. If it turns out to be a true graphical issue, you may try to tinker with the in game settings and see if you can make the card get along with the game.

Make sure you set power management to "maximum performance" in the nvidia control panel. Or you can create a program file for TF2.

Nah, it's not my internet connection. Never had the issues until the video card and ram swap, plus I haven't seen the issue in Chivalry.
