Galax gtx 970 exoc or Galax gtx 980 Soc

Hey guys , Which of the above is good for 1080p? and can last me longer.

The card with bigger numbers will last longer but the card with smaller ones will cost less.

To be fair though, GTX 970 and 980 are close enough in performance that they will need upgrading roughly at the same point in time. It's not wise to pay extra for the 980 in hopes that it'll last longer, only if you want the absolute best performance now.
