If anyone has found a fix for this. Playing original game on Win 7 64, 4870. Game is 1.22.

It plays fine for a while, then a lot of combats just hang.

If I then alt-tab out, I'll see the game start going and then it swaps, and I go back to the game and it's ok for a minute, then it starts again.

Sometimes, it hangs badly enough alt-tab doesn't leave the game. Any ideas?

Sorry, can't help - never had a problem with GalCiv, and never played it under Win7.

Great game though, and darn you if this sucks me back in. 😛
 
I just tried sin and not sure if I like it yet, also have gc but never really played it. may need to give that a try.
