It looks like the smart thing to do is wait. From that game.pc site review:
<< Sitting underneath the cooler is an A2 stepping of the GeForce4 Ti GPU, compared to the A3 stepping of the GPU we saw on the nVidia reference Ti4200. We suspect that once the Gainward cards really hit the market, A3 GPU's will be included. The A3 GPU is the latest stepping of the NV25 GPU, and while it has the exact same performance at stock clock speeds, many have reported that A3 stepping GPU's can overclock 10-15 MHz higher compared to A2 and above. >>
<< Gainward is known for their overclocking abilities, which is most likely the reason they decided to equip this board with 128MB of 4.0ns Samsung TSOP DDR SDRAM. While the official shipping memory speed for 128MB Ti4200 cards are 444 MHz (222 MHz DDR), the included Samsung DDR modules are rated for speeds up to 500 MHz (250 MHz DDR), allowing quite a lot of leeway between the shipping clock speed and what the modules are capable of running at. Add in the fact that Samsung is usually quite conservative with their memory labeling, as their DDR modules can usually clock much higher than what they are rated for. In short, 4.0ns modules are going to allow for a lot of overclocking fun. >>
Seems the ones comming out later will have alot higher overclocking ability. They overclocked this thing greater than a stock ti4600. I think this is definantley the card to get though, comes with good ram and the Philips 7108E MPEG processor chip so you can do some great VIVO stuff.
I can't wait !!!!!!!
