...this card is just freakin' amazing. 700mhz memory giving me no artifacts in games. Guess I could push it further...anyone else push it further?

Is there a 4400 Gainward ?

Akaz

EDIT> found it. Its the most expensive. Gainward $285 > Leadtek=Visiontek $255> PNY $235 according to Price watch

Dont have the Gainward, but do have the Leadtek A250 Ultra TD

I am also loving this card! Have mine just about where yours is at....super fast 🙂

Holy hell, that machine is fast. It absolutely crushes mine in everything. Gotta love those GF4s. Wow. And, it's not like my machine is a slow gaming machine (I can run 1280x1024 with full detail in every current game with no problems)....that's an amazing amount of power.

<< Holy hell, that machine is fast. >>

Thanks 🙂

<< Has your P4 been maxed out? >>

lol as far as I am concerned it is...with out any mods or tricks 🙂

<< I can get my Memory to 720 and Core to 325 and its stable >>

Wow that is awesome 🙂 What a fast freakin' card...

Jman can you give me a compare link to your score?

You should up your core to 320 and your memory ... start the OC at 735. The Gainward should easily hit that. I wouldn't be surprised if you were able to get close to 750MHz DDR memory (hence Gainward XP 750 or whatever the hell the card is called).

Ah, the eternal conflict-

"I need more power Scottie"
"She'll not take much more, Cap'n"

Seriously though I think you should at least try 735-740

<< Fkloster, what do you use to overclock your Ti4600? >>

Powerstrip...

<< You should up your core to 320 and your memory ... >>

320 is not stable for me...

Ahhh, maybe you got somethin' there... 😛

<< Ah, the eternal conflict-... >>

Dug would you please give my your work # so I can bug you...?

Mine was not a great overclocker but it got me to 12k on 3dmark 🙂

I'll see if I can do more with it tonight. Haven't REALLY pushed it yet

Mine is running at 330MHz core and 740MHz mem. I had to replace the crappy processor heatsink to got 330MHZ stable though.

I got mine overclocked to 325/735. Artifacts appear at 740 and the system will freeze at 330. However, I just found that at 325/731 it's actually faster than 325/735. I've run many times of 3DMark2001SE at both default and 1600x1200x32, 325/731 is about 60-100 points faster than 325/735.

Now 4600 @ 1600x1200x32 is almost as fast as my GF3 @ 1024x768x32. Finally there is a card can match my 19" monitor.

My friend has a Gainward Ti4600 as well. He can get his card to 320/770 with a blue orb on the GPU and RAM Heatsink fins on the RAM chips.

<< About a hundred bucks cheaper and almost exactly the same speed - gotta' love that. 😉 >>

So very true. It will be interesting to see the ti4200 cranking out similar numbers, and at a lower cost.
