Gainward GF4 question

Insidious

I got a cu cooler for the card, (Gainward Ultra700 DT - GeForce4 Ti4400).

It has the 3-pin connector and a 3:4 pin adapter.

On the Video card it has the normal 2-pin connector for the stock fan and another

3-pin connector which appears to be a fan header. Because I wasn't sure,

I used the 3:4 pin adapter to power the fan for now, but would prefer to use the

on-card connector if it is in fact a fan header. I could find nothing in the docs. about it.

Can anyone confirm the function of this 3-pin connector on my card.

TIA,
