Why the bloody Hell won't this work? I got a Gainward GF3 64MB w/VIVO, TV wouldn't work, RMA'd it, the replacement won't work either. Has anyone else with this card ever gotten the TV out to work? Who did you have to pray to? What animal did you have to sacrifice? The only clues I have to what is going on are:
If I boot up with a TV alone, system doesn't boot, no beeps, no hard drives churning, nothing.
If I boot with a monitor and TV, the chip is detected as a Conexant. Video in will not work and the TV option in the driver control panel stays greyed out.
If I boot with a monitor, then hook up the TV after booting, the chip is detected as a Philips, video in works, the TV option is available, but if I select it I still get no signal to the TV and my monitor goes & stays blank.
Anyone have an ideas? I want to use this card in my HTPC, so getting the TV out working is kind of mandatory here.
