Hi, I've read the tomshardware gf3 round up and the same sort of review at the other websites. IT appears gainward gf3 DOES have a OC issue: higher potential doesn't translate into higher framerates, at least not by the amount other brands do. Initially I though it was a mistake by TOm but other website also confirmed it. THIS IS REALLY BAD. Can any Gainward owner further clarify this???

I can refute this.. mine works fine. how are you overclocking? what results are you seeing? how are you measuring your fsp differential?

ok, here.. I just ran these for you running tom's methodology:

Quake III Arena Retail Version 1.16 (tho I think he meant 1.17)
command line = +set cd_nocd 1 +set s_initsound 0
Graphics detail set to 'Normal'
Benchmark using 'Q3DEMO1'

run @ default clock, athlon @ 1333Mhz/133 fsb. decide for youself.

same settings as tom (v1.17, normal detail)
