I get video error beep codes and no post with this card and motherboard.
BIOS ver is 64 and I'm running a MSI GF3 ti500 in the PC right now.
I tried updated the 4in1's to v4.42 and AGP driving value to max (FF) but
no boot screen. The card works fine in my friend's ASUS A7V. I tried reseating
the card muptiple times but to no avail

Any ideas?

 What chipset does the ABIT KT7A use? In any case I doubt it is lack of AGP2.0+ on your mobo so it would point towards your PSU more than anything. Even if your case lacks adequate ventialtion it should still POST. What is the brand and rating of your PSU?

;) Otherwise double check you have the most recent BIOS for your mobo. Did you check the websites for any known incompatability info? If your card won't POST then you can pretty much rule out OS and sw as a cause. Have you set any o/c's back to default? A higher FSB could prevent a POST.

Enlight 7237 Approved 300W power.
I have not overclocked settings and I did reset the CMOS
just to be sure. Power may be an issue, but what about the
battery on the motherboard? Any thoughts?

;) 3:30am here so I'll have to be brief! I've heard of Enlight but I doubt they're up to Enermax or Antec standards, even so 300W is cutting it a little fine, esp if you have a few IDE, fans etc. The battery on the mobo should be fine, it only keeps the BIOS settings you set and the date and time, if this was faulty it should still POST using the default BIOS settings. I'd suspect PSU, it would be a good idea to get a 350-400W Antec or Enermax otherwise ToPower, SFlower and Sparkle are often rec too! If you can borrow your friend's PSU, possibly detatch some IDE, case fans etc this may help to isolate the PSU as the cause without you needing to dish out the cash. HTH!
