Ok, so i got my new Gainward GF2 MX-400 with 64MB RAM and i was really excited (you'd be too if you were coming from a monster fusion, gah)
Anyhow, the card works fine with opengl, software, and only DX8 textured games. The reason i say 8 is because trying to play games like motorcross madness 2 and others have very strange effects with the textures, they move around in a static, fast way. I used the dxdiag.exe program and it only did this in the DX7 test.
I've tried many different drivers to try and remedy the problem (and removing them properly in order to install the next ones right), and none of them are helping at all. I also tried going from DX8 to DX 8.1 and that too made no difference. I've tried both reference and the manufacturers drivers, and still no difference.
Gainward tech support is taking their sweet damn time responding to me, can somebody help me pah-leeeeeeez???
