I got my Gainward Geforce 4 ti 4400 today from newegg, and I've been trying to get the video in and video out to work all day.

When I go into the nview tab in the advanced display properties, it doesn't detect the tv out. I told it to detect devices and it only finds the monitor. I tried connecting it to the tv with two different working rca cables, and I tried changing the monitor to the second connector, but I was unsuccessful.

Also, whenever I try to use the video-in function, the program either crashes or says there's no device installed. I tried several video editing programs and the software that came with it. This happens even though Windows detected the tv hardware before and installed support for it.

I tried the latest drivers from Gainward's website, the latest drivers from Nvidia's website, and the ones that came on the cd, and none of them worked. I'm using windows XP, if that matters.

Please, if you have any info as to what I could do to get it working, I would really really appreciate it. I'm really disappointed with this, especially after I spent so much money on it.

Oh yeah, also I called Gainward's tech support number, and after trying to explain the problem 8 times in as simple english as I could, the guy finally told me that I should return it.. (?)
Some great customer service, guy. Anyway, if I have to spend another several weeks without a decent 3d card because of this, I think I will throw my computer off a cliff!
