What am I missing here? On Gainward's website, they offer V.29.80 for the 64mb card and it doesn't even say anything about the 128mb card (I'm just assuming I would use that same driver for 128). On NVIDIA's site they offer 29.42. How is it possible for Gainward to have a higher version? Which one should I use (if it even matters) and will I be able to OC using just these drivers?

I feel like such a stupid n00b :)
Thanks guys

Thanks for the links guys. I heard that Gainward's drivers came with an OC utility so I figured that would make it easier. Is that true? Also, this it off-topic, but is it possible to delete my threads?

question.......does anybody that has replied to this thread so far actually have a gainward geforce 4 card?....or are you going off previous geforce experience?....the reason i ask is b/c i have the gainward ti4200 golden sample card, and the overclocking software that it comes with is completeley independent from the drivers.........i am running the 2942 drivers and am overclocked, fast and stable using the gainward software

One cool warning, don't buy a Ti4200 video card, you will hate it when Doom3 appears :D

Most peeps with the Ti4200 got the one with 128MB of RAM.

And buying the Ti4200 with 128MB RAM now puts one in a position to upgrade to the NV30 when it comes out.

Don't be so quick with your put-downs.:|
