so I have both cards. the only info I can find is the max resolution to either dvi or vga. I would like to know which one is better for tv out. I'm building a htpc, bought a pvr-350 but I didnt' do enough research, the card doesn't do tv-out for windows app or other software.

so yea.

thanks in advance.

I'm guessing the Radeon, as ATi tended to offer superior output in the past (the difference has narrowed in the past couple of years). I'm not 100% sure, though.

Is that a GeForce 1, 2, 3, or 4?

Well, you won't get a more definitive answer than if you test them both yourself. :) From what I've read, ATi tended to offer better TV out (and signal quality in general) in that generation, so I'd expect your 9000P to look better. If you'll be using the video card for DVD playback, the 9000P is also supposed to have better-looking DVD acceleration than the GF4Ti. (But I think you can get the best DVD playback using a purely CPU decoder, so you may not even care how the video cards do DVD.)
