Okey, here is my system spec:

Antec True430 430watt power supply
Gainward GeForce FX 5900 Ultra 256MB and is conncected to power supply.
AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Barton(it's not been overclocked or what so ever)
1 stick of KINGSTON HyperX Series 184-pin 512MB DDR333 (PC2700) 64X64 DDR RAM modules
Asus A7N8X deluxe motherboard
Western Digital 80GB special edition 8MB cache hard disk drive.
Edited: IBM 30GB 7200RPM hard disk drive
Sound Blaster Audigy
D-Link DGE-500T NIC
Samsung CD 48x/DVD16x-rom drive
Mini-floppy drive
250MB Zip drive

Here is what I receive whenever I start my system and go to desk top:

Power Indicator

Problem Report
The NVIDIA System Sentinel is reporting that the NVIDIA
powered graphics card is not receiving sufficient power.

To protect your hardware from potential damage or causing
a potential system lockup, the graphics processor has lowered
its performance to a level that allows continued safe operations.

So do you think the power supply; 430watt is too low for this system spec? If I need a new power supply, which brand do you recommand? Thanks for your help in advance!

There a molex power connector on your video card similar to your hardrive power connector. Connect an extra power cable from your PSU to that connector.

Thanks for replying but it is already connected to power supply.

HE probably knew you connected the 5 volt cable to the video card. Is the cable DIRECTLY connected from the Power Supply or is it it Indirectly connected through it? for instance:

P.S.---->passthrough----->HDD-----?Video Card
P.S.---->Video Card

You situation is extremely odd, the power is more than sufficient. But nothing is ever guarranteed.

1. Can you try and work with the system with a different power supply?
2. Remove any other add on cards
3. Remove FDD/Zip drive
4. Run the computer BARE essential (CPU, GPU, HDD, RAM)

You might have to spend some time on this, but a trial and error technique is the best option.

I fixed it! I just found out that molex power connector had problem but now it working! I don't see that message anymore. Now I'm rocking! Thanks for the inputs guys! 😀
