Gainward geforce 2 pro 2d quality...

well since the gf2 series have been really knocked around for the 2d quality....what about gainward's? this card looks great with 4.5 ns memory and I'm looking for something to put in my next box...
 
Got mine running at 1280x1024x32, and it looks just fine. 3D quality is good, too, but not as good as the ATI cards I've seen. nVidia=fast, ATI=better quality, not as fast, in my experience.
 
Question for Hender...
How do you find the performance with your Duron 750 and the GF2 Pro? I am running a CII @ 900 and will be upgrading from a Herc GF2 MX(orig) and am looking for a performance "Band-aid" until I can upgrade my mobo/CPU/HD combo. I see the card as a start that will hopefully scale well when I finally upgrade the rest of the engine. Also, did you change from a Radeon, or some other card? TIA
 
actually Hender...can you please post benchmarks? because...I'm like getting that exact same system (except different mobo...and 256 megs of PC-133 ram)
