I have tried Expert tool 6.2 with an old 6800 Ultra and used the fan control setting's as AUTO... The GPU fan is at 50% initially but kicks to 100% when the card reaches 91 degrees or so but it stays at 100% even after the card goes back down to 60-65 degrees.

The card is OCed at 444Mhz and 1111Mhz and i am useing 169.21 on a winXP with SP2!!!

BTW will expert tool work with a 2900 pro for fan speed control???
