Hmm I didn't know Gainward was still making cards?

If the 512mb one is substantially more expensive, don't do it. The 512mb doesn't really help in most applications, especially on a weaker card likt he 6800GS.

What the best pricing you can get on each card?

As Mrvile mentioned, 512MB on a 6800GS isn't going to much in terms of gains... so I agree, it wouldn't be worth the $$$ if there's a crazy premium.

My experience with Gainward has been positive tho. I own one of their GTS Pro cards and it's still running strong in an Athlon 1800+ system - that card rocked for it's time. I didn't upgrade until the Radeon XT's came out... tho I still bought a 9500 Pro on the cheap. :) Gainward's website thoroughly sucks tho. The 6800GS is listed under their "Ultra/2000-series" line but no actual card is listed - arg. Someone needs to higher a new web developer. :p
