Gainward 6800NU Golden Sample

I'm looking into buying a 6800NU, and I am trying to decide what brand to buy. I'm looking for a stock OC to get the most without having to mess around. I am wondering if the Gainward Golden Sample is the best bet?

Gainward Golden Sample: 400/700

BFG 6800 OC: 350/700

Chaintech: 358/770

Any help is greatly appreciated

The 6800NU is limited more by RAM speed than core speed, I'd get the Chaintech of those.

I'm just guessing here but I imagine most 6800NU's clock the same. If the card costs more, I wouldn't pay more for a bit of factory oc. If the difference is small, like 20$ or something, then maybe it's worth it. Hopefully a manufacterer will release a 6800NU with better memory soon though, some nice 2.2ns ddr2 would do the trick...

the Chaintech AA6800 and Galaxy 6800 both have 2.2ns memory. That Gainward card doesn't come factory clocked at 400, NewEgg has that listed wrong ... although with the nice cooling it has, a 400 core O/C is a very good possibility. The ram on the Gainward golden sample is 2.5ns
My Chaintech 6800 does 880mhz no problem, it's 2.2ns ram is theoretically rated at 450(900) so I am not even running the ram at full speed. I did try it at 900 though and that was where it hit a wall so I backed it off to 880.

I think they just never changed the picture from back when they only sold the plain Chaintech 6800 ... the AA6800 is their "turbo" version.

I am not sure what that B1 at the end stands for though, I'll look at my box and see if it's mentioned on there.

ps - ZZF has the card for the same price ($289)
