Either I am seeing things, or someone might have messed up their prices, but check this out. It could be a great deal if it really is the 6800 Ultra Golden Sample. Gainward website lists the Ultra GS as V680U2D6015 which maches the part number on the website. Check it out!

Anyone have any dealings with these guys?

And if so .. how can we be sure this is XtremeGear.com and not some tool who setup a similar site?
(this is a problem I have in general with all "store.yahoo.com" sites)
 
With the regular price being listed at 475.00 which is $25 less than the common MSRP for this card, I'd imagine it's either a 6800 GT or is simply a price mistake. Good luck to those that order...
 
I ordered it and we'll see what happens. For the price, I couldn't beat it! If it happens to be a raw deal, no harm done, AMEX will make sure I get my money back. I got it rush ordered so hopefully it will ship out today! I'll keep everyone updated.

BTW, I am guessing they meant to have the regular price as $575.00 and the sale price as $532.00

hehe... I did the same thing.... couldn't pass this up. And if it comes and it's not what was ordered (according to the PN) then I will have a dispute sent to the CC company. Hopefully this works out though and ends up being a great price on a great card. Good luck to you! 🙂

haha, I really need the card here by the end of the week and didn't want the run around. I am hoping this is legit, because if not, I guess I'll be paying for next day air shipping on something else.
 
Xtremegear regularly says they have things in stock or have something for a certain price when they actually dont. Check their 3500+'s which they say they have and actually dont.
 
I'll bite too...

Worst case I get a GT for an ok price for a gainward. Best case I get a 6800 ultra which are impossible to get in the 1st place and for that matter $100 off.

ditto, I have sent them an e-mail asking whether mine will ship today. I tried calling again, but their CS doesn't give order status over the phone.
 
From looking at their resellerratings I doubt they will ever answer any of your emails or calls jdogg707, I would just relax, cross your fingers and hope for the best...

No, they just told me that they could transfer me to sales. Which they did, and of course, no one was available. I will just wait it out until I get more info.
 
well I took the bait and bit with my AMEX blue card. Like others said, if anything happens, I'll refute and be done with it.

Wonder how good the custom 2 fan coolers are though. Their reseller rating is pretty good, but I'm pretty sure this is a price mistake too. Their 6800GT goes for an "regular price" of $466 and a "sale price" of $424...
