Stop making me F***ing cry!

<remembers November Gainward CoolFX Ebay debacle>

Anyway, won't matter in this country unless new owner Palit opts to re-enter the US market.

Card is teh roxor, of course, like all Gainwards. 🙁

Kinda wierd to name it a 2800 series card, considering it uses a 6800 series chip. I wonder if this will confuse/hinder their sales for someone looking at cards titled 'nVIDIA 6800'.

Either way, that much RAM would be useless, unless you are doing some kind of CAD thing. 😛

wow, 512 mb of ram. that may be useless now but future games will use it i'm sure...wonder how much faster d3 would run on ultra quality with that much video ram. hmmm.

Yes, in 2 years, when the 6800U will be low end performer.

0.00000000001%
I doubt even UE3 uses that many textures.

True dat.
That would be one of the first obvious uses for it.

My thought exactly

PRESS for CeBIT 2005
Really what this press is all about is the fact that there is only the 6800 ULTRA PCI-E refrence to DATE! @ the moment for TOP Gamers SLI that is,So there is no other Chipset Cardset Refrence to SHOW CASE 512MB RAM on NOW!.Gainward chose the curent situation to do this now to gain attention. This is IMHO the only news here, the fact that NEXT GEN cards will show case 512MB all day...
SLI is were the GAMERS will shine and everything else will be were the General will stand.
SLI drops out then 512MB adds the forseable tease -CB
