This PC was given to a Friend of mine as a Free Gift.

I know it's an Old out-of-date Motherboard, but it was free, so I'm going to set this thing up anyway.

Some Questions, if somebody here could please answer them.

1. What exact DRIVERS do I need for this Motherboard ??? (No Installation CD)

2. Where can I get the DRIVERS ???

3. What type of AGP Slot is it ??? (3.3volt only ?, 1x ?, 2x ?, 4x ?) I'm pretty certain it's not 8x.

3a. Any Particular AGP Card Compatibility Issues ??? (I have a PCChips 810LMR-v7.1A Motherboard that I use in my "back-up" PC. The "810" is Very AGP-"Finicky", is the reason why I'm asking)

4. What's the Largest Hard Drive the BIOS will recognize ???

I know the MB will accept up to PC100 SDRAM, w/ Max of 128MB Modules in each of the 3 Slots.
Can I use PC133 SDRAM ???(I have some just-laying-around) Memory Compatibility Issues ???

I will be using Windows 98SE as the OS.

I would like to install the Fastest AGP Card Compatible.

Also, At least a 20gig HDD, 40gig if "Readable"

I'll install the Max Memory of 384MB

I normally hang-out at Pc Pit Stops' Forum, but I figure that I'll have a better chance getting Answers at this Forum on Hardware thats as Old as this.

Any of you "Old-Hands" at this "Technically-oriented" Forum have any suggestions ???

Thank you for ANY Assistance

Anybody have any Answers (Suggestions) ???

Are there any Web Sites where I could go, to get this Information ??? The Gainward Website is Very Shallow. There isn't a whole lot of info available their. I did send their Support an Email, but I'm guessing that the Email wont be answered.

Thanks for your help.

I Googled for Gainward 5VPA and found a couple user reviews, that's about it. Seems to be an extremely finicky board.

Thanks for the reply.

That completely 'slipped' my mind. I forgot That I could 'google' it. Even though you didn't find much, I'll try it anyway. Also I'll Try Dogpile

Hopefully somebody else will Reply with some answers.

Thanks again
