Anyone know why GAIM would work everywhere else, but when it comes to a Wireless Netgear router connection, it hangs?

Have you tried any other Oscar-protocol client? Such as the official version of AIM (any of them), or Trillian?

I happen to be connected to the internet via a NetGear wireless router connection at the moment, and while everything else appears to be working just fine, my connection to AIM drops for an unhandled reason in both Trillian and the official AIM client... I haven't tried gaim to see what it does.

It's not mine, but the one I'm using right now is a WPN824.

I used to have the MR814v2. I had to downgrade the firmware to make it work.

The one I am working on is a WGR614 v6.

All of the different GAIM accounts are configured to Port 80 with No Proxy.

It works elsewhere and on a wired connection.

Try a different IM client and see what happens, just for the hell of it.

The direct clients work just fine....thats the weird part of it.

That... sucks. I'm not able to connect using AIM (official), Trillian, or Gaim. AIM Express works tho.
