My fiance drove my car today and managed to break the release button off my hand brake. :disgust:

Gotta try and replace it tomorrow. :(

Do auto parts stores (Autozone and the like) carry stuff like that?

For a part like that, the extra buck or two would be worth it to just go to your dealer IMO Feldenak :)

Problem is I don't have time to drive 35-40 minutes to the closest dealership.

I don't know. I've learned not to press certain issues...those certain issues being anytime when she screws up and is embarassed by it. :)

ahh.. those are disposable.. just buy a new one

seriously.. check ebay

Disposable? Maybe if I had disposable income. I work full time just to pay my bills and put myself through school...very few things are disposable.

Sorry, not in the best of moods since this happened and not looking forward to driving 35-40 minutes to go get ripped off by a dealership.

My apologies for being so short. :(

That part is not expensive. It was less then $15 for my Honda.

It's not usually the parts that nail you...it's their labor charges and creative use of time.

Good choice, last time I heard about a female, frustrated, and with only a e-brake handle it was something I could do without knowing. In the end the e-brake handle lost the match, the female was seen smoking a cigarette somewhere in the vicinity.
